Yesterday we had our fifth pack walk along the Bridle Path in Central Park! We had 16 pups and 25 people join us as we walked along on a beautiful Sunday in New York City...

Pork Chop and his cute underbite joined us for his first time! |
|
We certainly looked like a parade of pitties! |

Here comes Pinky and Sam - the excited ones |

How cool?!
We had a lot of people stop and ask what we were doing and got a lot of positive feedback! Thank you to all our new members and thank you for all of the support.
What did you do this weekend?!

Hey Havi!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a pawesome group to do walkies with! I bet everyone (pup and peep) had a wonderful time together. I sure wish I could join you too. I got some serious stick-throwing time in my yard this weekend. :)
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, COP
We will have to make a trip in soon to join the Big Apple pack! Over here in Hoboken/Jersey City, we're having a great time with our walk.
ReplyDeleteThat picture of Sam at full attention is so funny!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic looking group. Good job guys, such beautiful pups.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great organized walking idea. I keep hoping the Portland group will do a walk that I can join in with my guys, but so far all their walks have been on days I can't go.
ReplyDeleteWow, your group has really grown! This weekend we had a few two-dog "pack walks" in the garage of our apartment complex and a lot of staying inside watching basketball.
ReplyDeleteSo awesome, what a great turnout!
ReplyDeleteWow- what a great walk! That's such a great way to show off your dogs and get some positive press! PS- Havi looks awesome in her outfit!
ReplyDeleteawesome!!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the idea of group pittie walks! I'm excited that the idea has grown and spread so much. Unfortunately my local SPCA will "check out" all their dogs to approved volunteers so they can stroll downtown, go hiking, nap on a couch ... except anything deemed a 'pit mix'. It's unfortunate, but we have made progress. Now pit mixes can be paired for playdates in the outdoor parks, and the extra excersise really helps keep them from going 'kennel crazy' :)
