Monthly Feature: Big Dog, Small Budget

In our Monthly Feature we chat about our small budget and our big pup!  We know one of the biggest obstacles for families to adopt a dog is the expense.  In this feature we explain all of our monthly expenses and wrap up our year to date costs!

  1. Wow! You guys more than cut your expenses in half from the previous month. Unfortunately, our base monthly expense is $100 because our apartment complex charges "pet rent" - 50 per pup! I'll have to check out Mr. Chewy and see if we can save some money on dog food, but I'm likely to just spend it all on toys.

  3. Love Mr Chewy! This month I found an online raw meat distributor in my area, so that will help me save on food from now on! I did splurge on some new toys. Do you give Havi any bones or long-lasting chews? I think Parker and Skye are addicted to bully sticks...
